The Eucharistic ministers distribute the bread and the wine, the Body and Blood of Christ, amongst the worshipping community at Sunday morning masses. Each year, in the Fall, there is a training session for our new Eucharistic ministers and those who wish to take a "refresher". All those confirmed in the Parish are most welcome to consider participating in our eucharistic liturgies in this most reverent ministry. Please contact Betty Brennan via the Parish office on ph: 653-5126. Read more »

Welcoming New Comers

New to the parish? You are most welcome! Please pick up a registration form in the Welcoming Area and hand it in the parish office. You will be soon contacted by Judy Gatin, the Parish Life Director. She will give you a little information on life at St. Francis' and ask if you have any specific concerns or needs.

The last Sunday in May and November are designated Welcoming Sundays. Here new-comers are welcomed publically to the congregation, and coffee and cookies are served after mass so acquaintences can be made. All are welcome at all times to join our community.

Hospitality

The ministry of hospitality describes the efforts of a group of people from the parish who create, within the parish setting, an atmosphere of welcome, warmth, and friendship at times of liturgical celebration. Do you like to greet people? Do you have a warm, welcoming smile? Come and become a minister of hospitality to our congregation. Contact Judy Gatin at the office (306-653-5126) for more details.
